All of the deodorants listed below are natural, vegan, cruelty-free and toxin-free. Leave any suggestions you may have for others in the comments below!
*On a quick side note, I will mention that this post will be about deodorants only - no antiperspirants allowed! Antiperspirants are made with aluminum and are used to block your sweat glands from producing what they're meant to produce. At the end of the day, that’s just not something I want to be putting on my body. In my personal opinion, antiperspirants aren't toxin-free, so this is a deodorant-only zone!

Stick Deodorants
Tom's of Maine - Deodorant in Soothing Calendula
This brand is one of my spouse’s personal favourites. I’ve also tried them and Tom's deodorants work great! The scent is light and isn't super strong or perfume-y. They’re your standard stick deodorant - you can’t really go wrong with these!

One thing to note is that Tom’s of Maine also offers antiperspirants to give you a variety of options to choose from, so when you’re shopping just make sure you read the label if you’re looking to stay away from products containing aluminum.

Henri Bernard - Crystal Deodorant

For some reason this brand doesn't have their own website, but I found this deodorant at my local grocery store and saw some good reviews online, so thought I'd give it a try. As weird as it sounds, it actually works! I was super skeptical at first since it's literally just a block of pure mineral salt, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is a very good option for sensitive skin that doesn't like traditional scented deodorants. It must be wet to apply, so I recommend putting it on straight out of the shower, or wetting the top of the stick slightly in your sink. This one is as natural as it can possibly get!

Cream Deodorants
What was a fairly new type of deodorant to me has quickly become one of my most purchased. It is very easy to find non-toxic cream deodorants as it seems most companies making them have your and the Earth's health in mind. They are very simple to apply - just take a nickel-sized amount on a small scoop or your finger and smooth it over your armpit. Easy!
Dom’s Deodorant - Deodorant in Lemon Grass Cedar & Tea Tree

The sad part about this deodorant is that I discovered I am allergic to lemongrass and can no longer use it! I'm very miffed about it since it was my favourite cream deodorant so far. I'll just have to buy one in another scent!
For all you non-lemongrass-allergy people, this deodorant has a lovely scent. It just melts right into your skin, making it extremely easy to apply. As a bonus, it's made locally on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia.

PiperWai - Natural Deodorant
You may have seen this brand on Shark Tank! This deodorant uses activated charcoal as their main ingredient, and it definitely gets the job done! It smells great, due to the essential oils of course (do you see a trend here?). And if cream deodorants aren't for you, they just released a traditional stick deodorant! Fair warning - this one did leave a bit of white residue on my shirts (not a lot, but a bit), so if you're a stickler for that you may want to try another brand.

Spray Deodorants

This was a very interesting find. Not only is it advertised as a natural deodorant, it also claims to work on insect bites, acne and other skin irritations to kill any external bacteria and help heal your skin. Check out their website if you're interested in that side of things!
This is a Canadian brand that you may have seen on Dragon's Den. It is a very lightweight spray. They can apparently also be used on your feet and your shoes. This one did work for me, but only a bit - I would wear it on lazy days at home, and not so much on days where I'm doing more physical activity.

Saje - Deodorant in Exotic

I love, love, love Saje. This one definitely worked better for me than the one above and was just fine for my daily use. The colour and the packaging was the reason I picked it up in the store, and this scent was quite different than your typical deodorant scents, which I liked. I recommend starting with two sprays before going in with more, otherwise you may start to drip!
