Éminence Organics - Apricot Calendula Nourishing Cream


I originally heard of this moisturizer from the most lovely Dita Von Teese in her book, “Your Beauty Mark”, where she recommends it. Needing a new moisturizer myself, I decided to try it.

While this is the priciest moisturizer I've ever purchased, it has also been the most effective - definitely worth it! It got rid of nearly every dry patch on my very sensitive skin, and flaking is a thing of the past now. It also comes with its own scoop to avoid contaminating the jar with bacteria (although a little tip - these are very handy for cream deodorants!).

Any time I begin to experiment with too many different products and my skin goes a little crazy, I come back to this moisturizer to calm my skin down. A little goes a long way, so the jar lasts a long time! A high quality and soothing product.

Born Skincare - Essence Facial Moisturizer

If you're looking for a great moisturizer with a more mid-range price tag, this one from Born Skincare might just be the perfect fit. It has an amazing white tea scent (as white tea leaf extract is the first ingredient), which is a lovely addition to your morning or nighttime routine. I have dry, sensitive skin and my spouse is more on the oily side, but this moisturizer was balancing enough to complement both of our skin types.

Born Skincare has an interesting philosophy - to include the grape in some form or another in every product they carry. This moisturizer follows that philosophy and is made with grape seed oil.
